About Savings Mate
Savings Mate is a free Australian personal finance platform. We build calculator tools that help individuals and families make smarter money decisions — from buying a first home to understanding tax, superannuation, and everyday budgeting.
Why we exist
Australian personal finance is complicated. Between federal tax brackets, state-based stamp duty, superannuation rules, government grants, and constantly changing interest rates, it's hard for anyone to keep up. Many Australians overpay on tax, miss out on grants, or make costly property decisions simply because the information is scattered and hard to understand.
We believe everyone deserves free access to accurate finance calculators. No sign-ups, no paywalls, no hidden costs.
How it works
Our calculators are built on data from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), state and territory revenue offices, the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA), and ASIC MoneySmart. Every calculation shows a "Last verified" date so you know when the data was last checked against official sources.
All calculations run entirely in your browser. We don't store your data, track your inputs, or send anything to a server. Your privacy is absolute.
